I can’t figure out how to link to basecamp. I clicked on help and it mentions something about updating my basecamp snapshot, but I have no idea how to do that. Help?

Hi, in order to use Basecamp integration, you must click “Would you like to link up your Basecamp account to your Tiki account?” to link to your Basecamp URL on the signup. If you email your Basecamp URL to support@tikiden.com, we can alter your account’s setup manually for you.

How do I enable Basecamp Integration?

Basecamp Integration must be enabled during the signup process. If you have in error not enabled Basecamp Integration, please cancel your account and contact support@tikiden.com; we will re-instate your invitation immediately.

A couple of things need to match up exactly, so that Tiki can connect to your Basecamp account. These include the Name of your company (you can get this from your Basecamp login screen—case is important), the Name of the Basecamp Account Holder, your URL, and your Password.

Additionally, you must have the Basecamp API enabled. You can enable this is in Basecamp under Account.

If I’m using an openID setup for Basecamp – does this change the integration approach or is it fully supported?

There should be a section under “Your Info” in your Basecamp account like the below:

“How does OpenID work with RSS feeds or third-party products that integrate with Basecamp? If you are prompted to enter a username and password by your feed reader or third party product, please enter the special information below:

Reveal my special username/password”

Click on “reveal my special username/password” to determine what administrator login details you should use when signing up for Tiki.
